Black Speakers Online is a division of Speakers Etcetera - a full service speakers bureau founded by Norma Thompson Hollis in 1996. Ms. Hollis is a diversified woman whose initial training in early childhood development expanded to human development and a unique ability to bring people together. She believes in building relationships and creating opportunities. In May 2006, the Black Business Association honored Ms. Hollis with an Entrepreneurial Award for her outstanding contributions to African American entrepreneur excellence. Ms. Hollis is helping Black speakers navigate effectively in a global society through the Power of Voice®. She assists speakers to find their authentic voice and express it, and assists meeting planners to find speakers who share the voice of their organizations. Black Speakers Online maintains a comprehensive directory of Black talent and includes notable speakers like Alice Walker, Tavis Smiley, Jeff Johnson, Judge Mablean Ephraim, Yolanda King, Les Brown, Patricia Russell-McCloud and Mother Love.

Since starting Speakers Etcetera, Ms. Hollis has received numerous calls from Black speakers around the world who are looking for ways to increase their exposure, enhance their speaking careers and/or receive professional bookings.
